June 30, 2007 - Malfest 2007
This is the 5th anniversary of Malori's passing. Every year on June 30th, we gather some friends and family at Malori's gravesite (Memory Gardens in Brea, CA). We do praise & worship together, then take turns sharing from our heart what God has taught us through our experiences in the past 5 years.
The theme was looking at life in Light of Eternity. In addition, we focused on perseverance in spite of circumstances.
Afterwards, we headed to In-and-Out Burger to celebrate with one of Malori's favorite meals.
Then, we headed for Huntington Beach for some fun, waves, and Jack's strips and cheese. The weather was amazing all day long. At the beach, Andrew and Rachel met up with some high school friends, Alyssa Rey and Casie.
Special thanks to the Logie family (Chris, Susan, Nick, Annie, John, Belle, Hudson), the Ketcham family, Christie Dugas, Rachel Reinert, Pastor Robert Crabbe and Greg & Pam Harris who made the day special for us.
